London's Run

Porter showing us his muscles!
Becca snoozing comfortably
At the very top of the rock wall!
Porter on his way down from the rock wall.
In the helicopter.

I had the most fun with my children on Saturday. We braved the cold and woke up before the sun to head over to London's Run. We had a pancake breakfast while we waited for our turn to run. Porter rode his bike, Avonell rode in the stroller for the first half and actually ran with us for almost all of the 2nd mile, Becca slept in the stroller! When we neared the finish line there were people cheering on the runners. Porter took it very personally! He had this look on his face like he was a rock star meeting all of his adoring fans!! He kept telling me that he was a hero! They also got to sit in a helicopter. Porter told me he wanted to climb the rock wall they had set up and I thought for sure he would get scared 2 feet off the ground and need help, but he zipped right up to the very top! Then I though, oh he will panic when he gets to the top and doesn't know how to get down. Nope, he just let go and lightly floated to the ground. He loved it! We had so much fun, I would recommend this function to anyone who can attend. It was a fun family event and was for a great cause.

Hi Kristy!!!!! It's so good to hear from you! I had the chance to see your parents a few months ago and ever since I have wondered how you were and what you were up to. You have a beautiful family! We should definitely keep in touch. If you ever come out to Utah, you'll have to let me know. My husband Jason loved your folks, we wanted to get over to AZ to see them sometime. Is that where you guys are too? Thanks so much for finding me!
