Here's to being good!

Okay so my room, closet, and bathroom all got cleaned yesterday! And so I thought that since I can now not only see but get to my treadmill I am going to embark on a healthier lifestyle! Now this may come as a shock to some but I haven't had a coke for 3 or 4 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could just swear off all pops and sugary treats I would be on my way! I have even made a list of healthy foods that I like and come up with a good schedule of when I can get some exercise without interrupting my day in a drastic way. I'm telling ya' success is mine!

We have decided to take a trip to the Oregon coast next summer. I am so excited I can hardly wait. I think it is our favorite place in the world so far. Miles of beaches, cold weather, relaxing ocean sounds to sleep to, crabbing and deep sea fishing for Drew, tide pools with little critters for the kids, and the sunsets for me! I am hoping to make this a family tradition to go every other year. I figured since Drew only gets 2 weeks off a year that he should get to go where he wants on vacation and Oregon is it!

This is the last week of swimming lessons for the kids. I'm a little nervous about what is going to break up our day now. Porter still has 3 weeks left of summer vacation, which I guess is only 2 weeks after swimming is over so that's not too bad. I am going to push for the goal of finishing their reading charts before school starts so we can go to Makutu's Island. Maybe we'll spend more time at grandma and grandpa's swimming in our little pool and eating snow cones!

I want to come and eat snow cones! I am excited about Oregon too, I hope I can really do this! I have to get my kids on the bandwagon! And the whole thing with the treadmill is just sick, but I wish you HUGE success!

I can't wait until Oregon, Nathan can't either! This will be his first time back since his mission 6 years ago! Aren't we supposed to have a meeting about this some time soon? Friday?

Love you and wish we were going! Family reunion.... Oregon... Hmmm! I guess we need to see the fam but you all are just as close! I wish you the best on your new motivation and it inspires me to pull myself back together. When school starts maybe we can hook up for some exercise again:)
