We have a tradition in our family. Every April and October (for general conference) we get the tent out and set it up in the living room. We talk about how King Benjamin called everyone together and asked them to put their tents to face the temple so that he could talk to them. So everytime we tell the kids that we are watching conference the first thing that they ask is when we will put the tent up! We usually wait until the Sunday morning session, right after breakfast. The kids help Drew set up the tent and I make popcorn and chocolate chip cookies. They love to stuff their pillows and blanket in the tent and snuggle up. I'm sure that the meaning behind this tradition is lost on them but I hope that they will remember this as a time we spent as a family listening to the words of the prophet. Anyways, here are the pictures from October conference.
