Has it been only a month?

Yes, I know it has been a whole month since my last entry. Oddly enough it feels like I have aged years this last month! More specifically this last week. Did I really do this before, cause really, my body forgot how to do this I think! I was doing relatively well and then BAM last weekend I was able to keep 1 meal a day down and by Monday it was nothing. No meals. So I called the Doc Monday and picked up the RX Monday night. I looked at the price before insurance. Sit down ladies this may knock you off your feet otherwise! $1300!!! No not $13.00 or even $130.00 but $1300.00. I seriously about had a coronary right then and there. The good news is that I have insurance and I have kept every meal since then down and I can get on with life. I got to thinking about it and I feel like I lost a little of me the last couple of weeks. My list of loves is as follows (not in any particular order):
1. Holding my kiddos.
2. Reading with and to Porter.
3. Reading my own books.
4. Running.
5. Eating.
6. Sewing.
7. Playing the piano.
8. Spending time with the hubby.
9. Watching chick flicks while the kids nap.
10. Cooking.
Now as I look at this list I think "How much of this have I really gotten to do since my butt has been parked on the couch?". Not to mention all of the stuff that has to be done like dishes, laundry, cleaning, Relief Society calling. It is really bad when my 2 year-old says "Mommy sick, lay on couch".

In other news,
Porter gets to go to Wildlife World Zoo tomorrow for his school field trip and he is beyond excited. I will be surprised if he gets any sleep tonight. He's been such a good helper and everynight in his prayers he asks that the people who are sick in the hospitals can get better so they can go home!
Avonell has asked everyday when her birthday is. The girl has a one track mind and it is on her Birthday! We are going to start her on the reading program that I did with Porter. She's so excited!
And who can forget our sweet Becca Sue! She went potty on the toilet for the first time ever this week. Since then she has been saying "Stinky, change me" every time she goes potty in her diaper. I think we're getting close! I can't wait to have no diapers at least for a couple of months!
Drew woke up this morning in severe pain. He has been dealing with some back pain for a couple of months now and I told him when it first started that he needed to see a doctor. Did he listen? NO! So this morning it took him at least 15 minutes to even be able to stand up. I nearly had to threaten him with his life to get him to the doctor. So we went and he got some nice drugs to help him relax and set things right. He is going in for an x-ray to rule out a form of arthritis that his grandpa has but the doctor was fairly certain that he doesn't have it.
So there you go! You are all caught up and then some!

I'm so glad the medicine is helping! I'm sorry to hear you got so sick. Let me know if you go through a hard time again, whether it be the "morning sickness" coming back again hard (I really hope not!) or some other pregnancy related issue. If there's anything I can do to help I want to! You helped me so much in pregnancy; I'd love to return the favor.
That is so cute that Porter is remembering all the sick people in the hospital in his prayers. How thoughtful! That just shows we need to be more like children.
